Something Not Quite Right?

If the items you ordered aren’t exactly what you expected, you can return them quickly and easily using our online returns process. We aim to make returns straightforward and fair for all our customers.

Our Returns and Exchange Policy

No-Quibbles Returns

We want you to enjoy your purchase, but if for any reason your order isn’t quite right, we have a no-quibbles returns policy that allows you to send items back under the conditions below:

  • You have a set number of days from the date you receive your order to return items. Proof of purchase will be required.
  • Items being returned must be unworn, clean, and with all original tags still attached.
  • Certain items for hygiene reasons (such as earrings, underwear, tights, swimwear, and products that have hygiene seals) cannot be returned unless they are defective. Swimwear must have been tried on over underwear with hygiene strips intact, and sealed products must remain unopened.
  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Refunds are subject to any discounts applied at the time of purchase and the condition of the returned items, which will be inspected upon arrival.

Returning multiple orders? Each order must be processed separately using its own order number and return steps.

Gifts

If you received an item as a gift and it isn’t quite right, you can exchange it for a store credit or choose another item of equal value at one of our retail locations (where available). Proof of purchase will still be needed. Items received as gifts cannot be returned or exchanged online.


Online Returns – How to Start

To begin a return for items purchased online:

  1. Visit our returns portal at cheerfulwears.com.
  2. Enter your order number and the email address used when the order was placed.
  3. Select the items you wish to return and choose a reason for each item.
  4. Follow the prompts to review and submit your return request.
  5. Once submitted, you will receive a return authorization code or QR code to use with your return drop-off.

All returns must be processed through this online system unless other arrangements are agreed with our customer support team.


UK Returns

Customers placing orders through our UK site should initiate returns via the cheerfulwears.com portal. This process will allow you to generate a digital return code that you can take to an appropriate drop-off point.

Once your return has been scanned and accepted, refunds will be processed to your original payment method. The exact time for refunds to appear in your account will vary depending on your payment provider.

Please be aware that if any item is returned outside the specified return window or in a condition that does not meet our returns criteria, the return may be declined.


Exchange Policy

We do not offer direct exchanges by mail. If you would like a different item or size, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order online for the replacement item you want.

In-store exchanges (where applicable) are subject to stock availability.


International Returns

Customers ordering through our international websites can also return items using the online process:

  • Visit cheerfulwears.com and enter your order information to start your return.
  • Follow the online instructions to prepare your parcel and obtain any necessary return codes or documentation.
  • Attach the return details to your parcel and send it back.

Refunds for international returns will be issued to the original payment method used when the order was placed. If you encounter difficulties registering your return through the portal, please visit our dedicated support section at cheerfulwears.com for guidance.


Returns From Third-Party Retailers

If you purchased an item from one of our authorised resellers or stockists, please return the item directly to the retailer where the purchase was made. Our own returns process does not apply to purchases made through external partners.


Faulty or Defective Items

We strive to ensure that all products arrive in perfect condition and meet the high standards we set. If you believe an item is faulty or not as described:

  • Please start the returns process via cheerfulwears.com and indicate that the item is defective.
  • Once received, the item will be assessed by our quality team.
  • If the fault is confirmed, we will process a refund or provide next steps for replacement or repair.

Faulty items returned under this policy will be handled in line with consumer protection laws.
